Training Camp

As I headed to Hercules High School on Saturday March 31st, I was not looking forward to going to the ILC tutorial. I had an obligation to go to my church anniversary that same day. As I received information about the valuable information being shared at these tutorials, my parents and I decided that it would be best for me to attend the tutorial and come to the anniversary when it was over.

While sitting in the approximately two hour and thirty minute long tutorial, a lot of information regarding  blogging was shared and  I actually felt that I would  have a lot of fun, and come out of my box blogging everyday. We also learned about how to do our own laundry! I was surprised that some of my fellow ILCers did not know how to do their own laundry. Nonetheless I was glad that I attended and I am looking forward to the trip.

  1. Cameron,

When we started up The Ivy League Connection we always thought it would be to help our students prepare for a college life--attending classes, learning time management skills, honing their writing skills.

We never envisioned that we would be going to our sponsors asking them to pour megabucks into a program to teach young people how to do their laundry. This is scary, Cameron. How is it that so many of our youth have gotten this far in life without having to do their own laundry.

You never mentioned, though, who does your laundry?
